The Education Commission is one of six under the Oceania National Olympic Committees (ONOC).

The Education Commission was set up for the purpose of providing advice and strategic direction to the ONOC Executive on all sport training and education matters in the Oceania region.
It also provides oversight to the Oceania Sport Education Programme (OSEP) which is ONOC’s flagship programme and recognised within the Olympic Movement as a model for sports education in communities. Historically, OSEP was established before the creation and formalisation of the Education Commission. Its early staff and collective of alumni and facilitators worked collaboratively and transitioned to form the Commission.
